A short tip in Morton Simon Museum

Today, we went to Morton Simon Museum for both the history class and the writing class. We appreciated a lot of pieces here, which intrigues me is a piece named Coronation of the Virgin. It is a subject in Christian art by the artist Guariento di Arpo who came from Italy. He worked in Padua, where the influence of Giotto was primary. Giotto is generally considered the first in a line of great artists who contributed to the Italian Renaissance. His two famous pieces are both about Christian. And in the Middle Ages, Christian paintings were famous. So with the two reasons, there is no doubt that why Guariento di Arpo painted this piece.

In my personal view, I think this piece is really perfect. When I first saw this paint, it really it astonishes me. “ How can it be such amazing?” Look at the whole piece, it was combined with several small paintings, all the paintings are logic order stories. The painting is excellent and the composition of the piece is also good. All the paintings have its own position, not too bright and not too dark. These paintings are realistic. According to me, I do not like abstract arts very much. So this is one of the reasons I like the piece. If I visit the Morton Simon Museum again, I will certainly appreciate it for one more hour.

A  trip in castle

Today, we went to the castle. All of the students and teachers wear our school uniforms. My uniform is blue. It seems so pretty. We get there at 9 o’clock. But we entered castle at almost 10 o’clock. I forgot the exactly time. But I remembered that we had waited for too long. We firstly heard some bird singing. And then the tour MR. Adams let us see the animals in the castle. I saw two horses eating some grass. They were in such small place. They can’t run, just had a small walk. I think they might fell not free. The second station is enter the castle. I have took a lot of photographs of the castle. I thought the sightseeing is so beautiful. The castle’s owner named Mike. Then we went to a tomb which didn’t bury true human in it. The walls of the castle are mostly mixed with items such as bottles, gloves. Mostly of the trip time is watching the old items. I think they are beautiful and old. Soon, our trip ended. How funny and happy it is to have a trip in this place. I hope I can have another trip.
